Custom building a house was a very new experience for us. Once we found Chris, he was very education oriented with us. We never lived in a rural area, never dealt with a well, septic system, or propane, and had never worked with an architect. We spent 6 months with Chris to understand all these new elements, and more importantly, understand what we were getting for our money. Over that time, we visited many of Chris's homes in various states of construction. We were able to understand what Chris did and why, versus traditional mass-builders, from the inside out. This made us more confident in our decisions. Chris worked with us to stay within our budget, he was flexible, and gave us great ideas. I had reviewed many floor plans, and was not able to find something that worked for us. We then worked with Chris's architect and designed a home to fit our needs perfectly. We have been in the house for almost 2 years, and the all the spaces are well used to meet our needs, from raising our kids, to large family gatherings, to sitting on porch and enjoying the view. This is a house that we enjoy every day and are glad we chose to work with CSEliotHomes.
